Smart Block Hotel is based on the concept of the "Smart City" as a proposal for the "Neighborhood of the Future." By combining technology, sustainability, and nature, we are creating an ecosystem designed for a sustainable future, with the goal of reducing our environmental footprint and adding value to the Olympic Village neighborhood.
Through intelligent distribution, we create an effect of permeability in the building. The implementation of interior gardens that virtually connect with the green areas outside creates an effect of continuity between the hotel and the city, as if the vegetation were taking over the space.
In this way, the use of vegetation and innovative sustainable materials seeks to increase comfort through an atmosphere of harmony and coexistence with nature, balance, and sustainability.
With a Smart City concept in which, during the design process, the term "smart" evolved and ceased to mean only technology. Smart is the possibility of encompassing many terms in a single space, the ability to CONNECT nature with people and, through technology, evolve spaces into a welcoming, transformable, and livable place for any type of person.
